Online English Test
Piloting of the Online English test completed on April 9, 2019
The pilot phase of the new English test has been completed. Due to the great level of interest, we were able to conclude the pilot scheduled from 19 March to 30 April 2019 on 9 April. During this period more than 1,500 people completed the English test. Thank you to all of the participants. You helped us a lot. By completing the test, we can further improve the test based on the statistical analysis, including verifying the scaling of tasks and responses to the 6 levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). For personnel departments, recruitment agencies, language schools, the placement of unemployed or municipalities
The online tests for English and German will be operational from the summer of 2019. The two tests are suitable, for example, for HR departments that want to offer their employees the opportunity to provide a linguistic assessment of their English skills; for recruiters and employment agencies; for language schools or the labour market (municipalities, cantons etc.).
A detailed assessment of English language skills
The English test is completed online and takes 30-45 minutes. Participants can take the test from home or from an office computer. The areas of vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension and listening comprehension are tested. The participants receive a detailed and evaluation of the English language skills by email, related to the CEFR.
